The Shop with a Cop event in Marietta, GA, is a fun, annual Christmas-time event that allows kids in Marietta City Schools to do some holiday shopping with local law enforcement helping facilitate. Based on their needs, students receive $250 to spend on gifts and necessities at Walmart while chaperoned by a police officer or public safety official. After the shopping, the kids can have their gifts wrapped by volunteers while they enjoy a visit with Santa.
