The 2020 Hyundai Venue makes its debut in the compact crossover SUV space. With its sharp sculpted exterior and a cabin that offers lots of amenities for a compact SUV but never looks busy, Hyundai’s Venue’s styling could be mistaken for a much larger, more upscale SUV. But its price is most definitely that of an entry-level SUV. At Ed Voyles Hyundai in Smyrna, Georgia, we are proud to introduce the new Venue to our customers that want a fun and useful compact SUV at a price that won’t break the bank. We have a great selection of 2020 Venues at our dealership for you to see and drive.

Three Trim Levels of the 2020 Hyundai Venue: SE, SEL, and Denim

The 2020 Venues comes in three trim levels: SE, SEL, and Denim, and you won’t believe how low their starting prices are. The Venue SE starts at $16,850, the SEL at $18,750, and the well-equipped Denim at $21, 550.

Under the Hood of the 2020 Hyundai Venue

The powerplant of the Venue is a 1.6L Double Overhead Cam (DOHC) 16-valve inline 4-cylinder engine that produces 121 horsepower and 113 lb-ft of torque. You’re not going to win any races with this engine, but you will save lots on your fuel costs because it is super-efficient. It gets up to 30 miles per gallon (MPG) in the city and 34 MPG on the highway, which gives a combined MPG of 32. You have two choices for the transmission, a 6-speed manual or a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). The pairing of the 1.6L engine with the CVT is the more fuel-efficient of the two.

Inside the Cabin of the All-New 2020 Hyundai Venue

Inside the cabin of the 2020 Venue, you get more than you’d expect from a compact crossover. In the center of the dash is a large 8-inch touchscreen display. Lower are the large knobs of the air-conditioner/heater with an interesting round screen between. This round HVAC display shows you the temperature, fan speed, and where the conditioned air is directed. A nice touch so you can look where your hand is rather than at the touchscreen for that information. At the bottom of the center stack are two USB ports, a 12-volt power port and a space for your smartphone. There are lots of steering wheel controls for the audio system, the center touchscreen, your smartphone and cruise control. The console between the front seats has the gear shifter and traction and drive mode selector, which displays on the instrument panel. There are six different drive modes for the Venue: Normal, Eco, Sport, Snow, Mud, and Sand.

The Rest of the Brand New 2020 Hyundai Venue

The front end of the 2020 Venue was designed to make this compact crossover look bigger than it is. This effect is successfully created by wrapping the lighting capsules around the corners of the vehicle, pushing out the fender flares and making the grille a large visual cue. The design effect works. The taillights were designed to give a sense of motion when you look at them from different angles. This is done by a dual-layer construction, and it’s quite interesting. In the rear cargo area, you get 18.7 cubic feet of space behind the rear seat with an innovative pull-up shelf that acts as a blind to conceal your cargo or a shelf to give you more rear room and organization. When you fold flat the 60/40 split rear seat, you get 31.9 cubic feet of cargo space. There is so much more to this vehicle that you just have to see it. The 2020 Hyundai Venue is a well thought out compact crossover SUV that gives you a lot more than you’d expect for an entry-level price. Come to Ed Voyles Hyundai in Smyrna, Georgia to see and drive this really remarkable all-new vehicle from Hyundai. We have lots of Venues in stock ready for your test drive.
